“ Very good lunch with a good selection of pizza and pasta all made fresh. One thing to note is the pasta is also home made. Was very impressed by a free item to start and a choice of free drink to end. Only 4 out of 5 for service as a 2 course lunch took over 1hr+ which might not be an issue when on holiday but not so much when you’re just heading out for lunch between work. ”

“ Had dinner here on our first night in Alvor and chose to sit outside the front at the benches. We were given complimentary bruchetta when we ordered our drinks which was amazing. We ordered pizza , it was honestly one of the nicest pizzas I've ever eaten. Overall I'd highly recommend. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. ”

“ Very tasty pizza and comfortable dining but it was very quiet when we called and although the waiter did his job he wasn't particularly friendly or attentive. Maybe the ambience is better on a busier night but when we called it let the place down. Reasonable prices and some outdoor furniture on the street. ”

“ Trattoria L'Allegria is pure joy. One of the best places I've been. Simple, cosy, friendly and delicious. We are welcomed with a focaccia on the house and farewelled with an unbelievable limoncello. We had garlic bread for starter and pizza for main and everything was really great. In a beautiful location with so many offers it is difficult to stand out and for me they have done that. We’ll return to try one of the pastas. No doubt! ”

“ We had a great experience at this Italian restaurant. The pasta was absolutely amazing, and the pumpkin soup was delicious as well! However, we had to wait a very long time for our dishes, which was disappointing. Another downside was that the house-made desserts were sold out, leaving only industrial ice cream. In a city like this, we were hoping for something special and authentic. The service was very friendly, and the staff was all smiles, which we appreciated. Overall, the food we tried was excellent, especially the pasta, but the long wait and lack of desserts were letdowns. ”

“ Honestly sooo good! We walked past here on a stroll and asked for a table. So glad we did. Pasta so fresh and tasty! 3 of us had a different pasta each and all of them were gorgeous! Staff so friendly! Decor in the restaurant so pretty , lovely relaxed vibe. We paid around €80 for starter, 3 mains a side and drinks . Well worth it! ”
